Ford has decided to emphasize crossovers and has therefore retired vehicles like the Focus. Trim Levels

The SEL is the well-equipped Ford Focus, and the Titanium is a premium model with many upscale add-ons. Chevrolet also offered variants: Electric, ST and RS. Those were available in the same trim levels, and we’ll touch on them more in the Mechanical section.
Exterior

Interior
Both the sedan and hatchback are five-passenger vehicles. Headroom and legroom are the same in both cases. The SEL adds dual-zone automatic climate control, a sunroof, ambient lighting, an 8-inch touch screen, two USB ports and a 10-speaker audio system. Satellite radio was optional at this point and included with the Titanium, which also added leather-trimmed seating, a power-adjustable driver’s seat and a leather-wrapped shift knob.
Mechanical
There is a wide range of powertrains available among used Ford Focus that you may expect. The S models have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine—160 horsepower—and were available with either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The SE hatchback has the same option but a six-speed if the original buyer opted for manual. The SE sedan has a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder—123 hp—with either of the six-speeds. Those setups are the same if you opt for the SEL or Titanium. There are also some variants that we mentioned earlier. However, they may be a bit more difficult to find when shopping for your used Ford Focus near Quad Cities. Electric models have a single-speed transmission and an electric motor that makes 143 hp and provides 115 miles of range. There are also ST and RS models that are performance oriented and not typical pre-owned vehicles. Technologies
Even a base used Ford Focus will have a 4.2-inch infotainment LCD screen and a rear camera. If you prefer the Sync 3 suite with an 8-inch touch screen and Android and Apple integration, you’ll have to target the SEL and Titanium trim levels. Navigation was optional with the SEL and included standard with the Titanium. Automatic headlamps were standard across the board. If you want advanced driver aids, then you’ll need to shop for the Titanium exclusively. It adds automatic high beams, lane departure warning and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
